Almost all the buildings were dismissed just after the end of the exposition in late 1911. They weren't built with bricks, but with wood, chalk and stucco.

Benvenuta Tea, sono cresciuto proprio nella zona in cui hai vissuto i primi anni. Purtroppo è un quartiere con pochissime foto di cose "sparite", visto che prima degli anni Cinquanta c'era ben poco. Sarebbe molto interessante trovare foto d'epoca dei primi abbozzi di vie dei dintorni (Tripoli, Bainsizza, San Marino, Buenos Aires, Lanusei, Saliceto, Briccarello...) con le casette basse ancora in mezzo ai campi e le ultime cascine in lontananza.

Grazie anche a te. In effetti ho visto pochissime foto della zona, quasi tutte legate al vecchio stadio. Purtroppo io approfitto del vostro lavoro e mi limito ad ammirare le foto..Ho vissuto in quello che era Corso Agnelli dal '75 al '77, mio padre ha dovuto chiedere il trasferimento ed è tornato giù in Sicilia con la morte nel cuore, ha vissuto quasi 20 anni a Torino e la adorava. Io ogni tanto torno su a fare un bagno nei ricordi dei suoi racconti... |

Si nota poco, ma questa é una delle pochissime cartoline che riprendono il Comunale e anche il Filadelfia, anche se seminascosto dall'ala dell'aereo. Ancora nessuno é stato in grado di dirmi con esattezza di che stadi di Torino ho pubblicato le foto, un bel po' di pagine fa?
